Job Summary
This role seeks a qualified and motivated Development Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering and Sensor Technology to join Heckler & Koch, a leading global manufacturer in the defense sector. The primary responsibilities include providing technical leadership for feasibility studies and pre-development projects focused on sensor technologies and electronics. You will be instrumental in driving innovation, implementing new technologies, and conducting market studies and competitive analyses. A crucial part of the role involves coordinating technical alignment with external development partners, suppliers, and institutes, as well as supporting internal teams with complex technical queries during product development. Candidates must possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, coupled with 2-3 years of professional experience in an R&D environment within a manufacturing company. Expertise in control engineering, electronics, and mechatronics is essential. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the security architecture of NATO-associated states, benefiting from short decision-making paths and attractive working models.

Experience
- 2-3 years in a Research and Development department of a manufacturing company
- Professional experience in control engineering, electronics, and mechatronics
- Experience with MATLAB (desirable)
- Experience in the defense technology industry (desirable)
