Job Summary

This role is designed for an experienced professional to drive IT strategy and transformation initiatives across major entities including Munich RE, ERGO, and MEAG. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conceiving strategies for the Group Tech function, managing complex, international projects, and developing robust project plans with a focus on financial and process execution. You will be responsible for establishing monitoring systems, tracking KPIs, and ensuring project goals are met through rigorous change request management and close stakeholder collaboration. A key aspect is aligning project outcomes with overall corporate and IT strategy, often requiring the preparation and moderation of workshops for top-level management. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in IT, Engineering, or Business Administration and brings at least 10 years of professional experience, including extensive time in top-management consulting within the IT sector. Success requires expertise in budget management, compliance assurance in regulated environments, and fluent English skills.
