Job Summary
This role involves acting as a dedicated Voice Support Engineer, primarily focusing on the operation, monitoring, and high-level support of Cisco Voice and Contact Center solutions. Day-to-day activities include rigorous analysis and troubleshooting of Severity 1 incidents, utilizing specialized UC monitoring and management tools, and collaborating closely with external providers and OEMs to ensure rapid incident resolution. A key aspect is supporting ITIL-based Change and Incident Management processes and contributing to crucial Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans within the voice environment. The ideal candidate must possess formal IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), proven professional experience operating voice systems, and strong knowledge of Cisco UC technologies. Excellent analytical skills and fluency in German and/or English are essential for success in this demanding role.
