Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Institute for Hospital and Environmental Hygiene at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) in Kiel, focusing on microbiological and chemical investigations of hospital and environmental hygiene samples. The Technical Assistant will be responsible for organizing sample reception, including LIMS system mapping, order entry, and sample preparation. Key daily tasks include performing complex microbiological diagnostics and quality controls, particularly for water examinations, and maintaining contact with sample collectors. The position requires a completed technical assistant qualification (such as MTLA, BTA, or LTA) and specialized knowledge of environmental hygiene testing methods.
