Job Summary

This role is critical for ensuring the economic stability of large-scale railway infrastructure projects by specializing in electrical engineering claims management. The Claims and Change Order Manager will be responsible for the precise creation of timely and contract-compliant change proposals (Nachtragsangebote) within a specialized electrical trade, such as Control/Telecommunications (LST/TK), Overhead Line Systems (OLA/50 Hz), Cable Civil Engineering, or Railway Power. Day-to-day tasks include detailed contract analysis to identify risks and opportunities, precise calculation of contract changes, and skillfully negotiating and enforcing compensation claims against both clients and subcontractors. The successful candidate must possess an electrical engineering background (Technician or Engineer level), multi-year construction site experience, and strong knowledge of construction contract law (VOB) to effectively manage and realize financial claims, working closely with the project management team from the headquarters in Großbeeren.
