The Technical University Chemnitz is seeking a highly competent Technician to join the Chair of Measurement and Sensor Technology within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. This role is crucial for supporting scientific project staff on the fixed-term 'PolySense' project, focusing heavily on practical application and data management. Key daily responsibilities include preparing test facilities for sensor integration, instrumenting and automating complex measurement tasks, and providing essential support during both laboratory and field measurement campaigns. The ideal candidate must possess a State-certified Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering and demonstrate strong practical knowledge of sensors, particularly electrochemical sensors and their interfaces. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, and LabView is mandatory, alongside proven skills in data processing and statistical evaluation.
