Job Summary

This role as a Technical Specialist, situated within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Chemnitz University of Technology, is crucial for maintaining and advancing safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the further development of the quality assurance concept, including conducting internal audits for the School Occupational Safety Management System ("AManSys"). Day-to-day duties involve creating comprehensive risk assessments, performing technical safety inspections, and verifying adherence to safety standards in public schools across Saxony and commercial enterprises. Additionally, the specialist will play a key role in preparing, executing, and technically supporting student workshops, practical exercises, and laboratory sessions. Key requirements include a university degree in a technical discipline and specific, certified technical expertise in safety (ASiG Levels I to III).
