Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Engineering Technician to support cutting-edge research at the Technical University of Chemnitz within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of complex laboratory test systems, setting up experimental configurations according to scientific specifications, and ensuring thorough documentation. Key daily tasks include programming test systems using languages like C, Python, and LabView, preparing experiments involving electrochemical sensors and biomarkers, and performing statistical data processing and analysis of laboratory investigations. You will also be involved in the manufacturing of laser-induced electrodes and functionalization with nanomaterials. Candidates must hold a qualification as a state-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering or possess equivalent relevant professional experience, coupled with essential prior knowledge in sensor technology and data handling.
