Job Summary

This role involves essential financial and administrative support for the ERASMUS mobility programs within the International Affairs department at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). The officer will be responsible for the core financial administration of ERASMUS funds, including budget monitoring, calculating, instructing payments, and handling the accounting processes for ERASMUS scholarships. Key day-to-day tasks include meticulous review of application documents, receipts, and proofs submitted by program participants, as well as general administrative duties like coordinating student stays abroad, scheduling appointments, and issuing scholarship notices. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant commercial or administrative qualification, ideally with experience in financial administration and management systems. Strong organizational skills, a precise working style, and fluency in German (C2) coupled with good English skills (B2) are required to ensure the smooth operation of international mobility programs.

Completed vocational training in commercial or administrative field (e.g., Administrative Specialist, Office Management Clerk) or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Experience in handling booking or administration systems (advantageous)
