This role is for an IT Service Technician specializing in Onsite Support, responsible for maintaining critical IT infrastructure and providing excellent end-user assistance in Monheim. Day-to-day tasks involve managing Incident and Request tickets according to defined service levels, covering end-user, conference room, and specialized Smart Hands support. The technician will execute essential maintenance tasks including IMAC/D (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes, Decommissions) services, onsite swaps, and Break & Fix operations. A key component of the role is proactive maintenance, documentation of assets and activities within the ticketing system, and ensuring adherence to security policies. Candidates must possess a completed IT qualification (such as an IT Specialist or IT Systems Electronics Technician) and several years of experience in field or onsite support environments. Required technical knowledge includes Windows operating systems, hardware components, networking fundamentals, and proficiency with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.
