Job Summary

This full-time, permanent IT Administrator role involves managing and developing the central data center infrastructure, focusing on storage, virtualization, and firewall administration. Key responsibilities include server, client, and network administration, managing active network components, and overseeing specialized technical procedures and the Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) telecommunications system. The administrator will also lead and participate in IT projects aimed at infrastructure advancement, provide essential First- and Second-Level Support, conduct user training, and ensure compliance with BSI standards for information security. Candidates must possess a degree in IT or a relevant technical qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration/Application Development). The position requires strong organizational skills, service-oriented thinking, and the willingness to work flexible hours, offering a high degree of autonomy and responsibility within a supportive public sector environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in IT, or certified IT Specialist (System Integration or Application Development), or IT System Electronics technician, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT administration and support
  • Experience in leading and participating in IT infrastructure projects
  • Willingness to work outside of standard service hours
