Job Summary

This role involves working as a Materials Tester within the steel industry in Bochum, focusing specifically on the inspection and testing of turbine blades in a demanding 4-shift system. Key day-to-day responsibilities include performing ultrasonic measurements and visual inspections on turbine components, operating and adjusting ultrasonic testing equipment, and meticulously documenting all measurement results and quality checks using PC-based systems. Candidates must possess a completed vocational or craft apprenticeship, ideally in a foundry, coupled with professional experience in an industrial production environment. Success requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and responsibly.
