Job Summary

This Electronics Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to future-oriented technologies by participating in exciting experimental projects focused on hardware development. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing, modifying, and validating electronic components, conducting thorough component qualifications, and evaluating alternative parts. You will be responsible for comprehensive documentation, including BOMs, schematics, and test reports, utilizing PDM and ticketing systems for efficient workflow management. A crucial part of the job involves performing adjustments and evaluations of parameter settings within the firmware, supporting subsequent releases and approvals. Furthermore, the role requires hands-on involvement in commissioning, measurements, and extensive hardware testing within a laboratory environment. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical qualification, coupled with advanced knowledge of power electronics and motor control, and fluent proficiency in both German and English.

Required Skills

Education

Completed University Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, OR Electro-technical Apprenticeship combined with Technician qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience working independently in an electronics laboratory (E-Labor)
  • Experience handling electronic measuring devices and lab equipment
  • Advanced knowledge in Power Electronics and Motor Control
  • Experience with component qualification and evaluation
