Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position in Potsdam involves maintaining the city's IT infrastructure and providing essential support services. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for the operation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of various IT systems, endpoints, and software. Key daily tasks include managing the setup, dismantling, and relocation of IT and telecommunications workstation technology, providing crucial First- and Second-Level Support, and handling user assistance. The role also requires involvement in procuring IT equipment through direct orders and assisting with the planning, steering, and control of IT projects. Ideal candidates should possess a completed vocational training in IT System Integration or IT Systems Electronics, demonstrate strong service competency, economic thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
