Job Summary

This role is a critical 2-year temporary position at Roche in Penzberg, focusing on the development, optimization, and revision of high-revenue Elecsys In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) assays within the R&D Core Lab Development network. The specialist will be responsible for the independent planning and execution of demanding development tasks, primarily utilizing protein chemistry and immunological methods. A core part of the job involves meticulous evaluation, documentation, and presentation of all test results while strictly adhering to Quality Management guidelines and safety regulations, particularly when handling infectious material. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Biology or Biotechnology, or equivalent technical certification, coupled with strong expertise in Immunology and Protein Chemistry.
