Job Summary

This critical role focuses on ensuring and enhancing the process capability of existing forming processes, specifically involving Molybdenum and Tungsten-based materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous development of current technologies, expanding data-driven process control systems, and integrating new technologies into serial production. A key aspect involves identifying optimization potential within the department and executing these improvements through OPEX projects. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring process stability and leading technological advancements. Ideal candidates must hold an advanced degree (or equivalent long-term experience as a Process Engineer) in Materials Science or Forming Technology, possess practical experience in metallic material forming, and demonstrate strong communication skills alongside fluency in both German and English. This position offers significant autonomy and support for specialized professional development.

Required Skills

Education

Degree or PhD in Materials Science, Forming Technology, or similar technical fields. Alternatively, comparable advanced training/further education.

Experience

  • Several years of professional practice in Materials Science, Forming Technology, or similar fields
  • Long-term professional experience as a Process Engineer (as an alternative qualification path)
  • Professional experience in the forming of metallic materials
