Job Summary

This role seeks a Materials Testing Technician to specialize in metallographic analysis within the Metal Physics Laboratory. The primary focus involves the preparation, execution, and detailed documentation of metallographic examinations of materials and components, utilizing techniques such as light microscopy. Day-to-day responsibilities include meticulous sample preparation—including embedding, grinding, polishing, and etching—to determine precise metallographic characteristic data, primarily supporting critical quality assurance measures. The technician will also be responsible for the administration of auxiliary and operating materials, assisting in customer consultations regarding material testing and analysis queries, and providing support in processing product complaints. The ideal candidate will have completed vocational training in Materials Technology or a comparable field, possess solid technical knowledge, manual dexterity, and good English skills.
