Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Commissioning Engineer specializing in High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems to join the team in Forchheim. The core responsibilities involve executing integration and functional tests for Control & Protection hardware and software within the company's test center. You will independently manage and document complex Functional and Dynamic Performance Tests (FPT/DPT), including customer acceptance tests. A crucial aspect of this position is the worldwide commissioning of HVDC/HGÜ plants, ensuring strict adherence to technical, timeline, and budgetary specifications. Furthermore, you will contribute to quality assurance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives like Lean and Lessons Learned. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, foundational knowledge of HVDC technology, and proficiency with relevant testing tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK and SIMATIC. The position offers a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and the option for mobile work, but requires significant willingness for global business travel, including extended assignments on domestic and international construction sites.
