Job Summary

This critical role requires a dedicated Shift Supervisor to ensure the safe and reliable operation of a power plant facility in Erlangen, Germany. Operating within a demanding three-shift model (including nights and weekends), the supervisor is responsible for upholding stringent operational standards, safety regulations (environmental, fire, and occupational safety), and internal shift instructions. Key daily responsibilities include maintaining the shift log, monitoring warning and alarm messages, and actively investigating, documenting, and resolving operational disturbances. Furthermore, the role involves coordinating complex routine procedures and providing essential training and guidance to control room and field personnel. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree or equivalent qualification and possesses relevant professional experience in shift management, preferably within a power plant environment, coupled with the ability to make structured decisions under significant time pressure.
