Job Summary

This role seeks a Structural Simulation Development Engineer in Nuremberg to drive the simulation efforts for electric motors and inverters within the vehicle technology sector. The core responsibilities involve conducting advanced Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations, primarily focusing on structural integrity and thermomechanics. You will analyze and assess the strength, deformation, sealing, and sliding characteristics of motor components and housing flanges. A key aspect of the job is the continuous development and optimization of existing simulation methodologies, alongside coordinating external simulation assignments and representing simulation interests in global, cross-functional project teams. Candidates must possess a degree in Mechanical or Vehicle Engineering, substantial professional experience in simulation, and expertise in Abaqus and ANSYS. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for success in this innovative and international development environment, which offers flexible working hours and mobile work options.
