Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Network Technician supporting critical infrastructure projects focused on network and system integration for a leading IT service provider serving large companies and public authorities. Day-to-day tasks involve the preparation, installation, and configuration of network components, including applying software updates, setting up IP addresses, and meticulous documentation maintenance (patch lists, change logs). A significant responsibility is executing 1:1 switch replacements, which requires precise copper (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A) and fiber optic (MM/SM, LC/SC) patching, functional testing, and troubleshooting while working in live networks with minimal downtime. Candidates must possess a completed IT vocational qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with a fundamental understanding of LAN switching technologies like VLAN, STP/RSTP/MST, and LACP.
