Job Summary

This role is ideal for an IT professional looking to join a leading global IT infrastructure service provider, supporting major corporations and the public sector. The IT Service Technician will be responsible for critical day-to-day IT support, including performing software installations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing support tickets efficiently. Key tasks involve physical hardware setup, upgrading IT equipment according to instructions, performing functional tests, and managing fiber optic cabling (patching and supporting network device/WLAN AP exchange). Candidates must possess a completed IT apprenticeship or at least one year of practical experience in the IT field, coupled with strong user experience in ticket systems. Deep knowledge of the client environment, specifically Windows 10/11, Office 2019, and Skype for Business, is essential, along with basic Linux knowledge. This position offers a tariff-bound contract, above-tariff pay, and a high probability of long-term placement with the client.
