Job Summary

This unique, cooperative Post-Doc position, split between Furtwangen University (HFU) and KLS Martin SE & CO. KG, is designed for individuals aiming for a professorship at a University of Applied Sciences (HAW). The role focuses on surface modifications of medical technology materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading R&D projects, publishing results, securing external research funding, and teaching at the university. Simultaneously, the researcher will acquire practical professional experience at KLS Martin by assessing and establishing surface modification technologies, developing strategies for quality improvement, and contributing to innovative implant systems, particularly for osteosynthetic applications. Candidates must hold a relevant doctorate and demonstrate strong expertise in biomaterials, research project execution, and excellent German and English language skills, actively pursuing a future HAW/FH professorship.

Completed University Degree (Diplom/Master) in Engineering Sciences or comparable field, Completed or near-completion relevant Doctorate (PhD)
