Job Summary

This role is for a Technical Expert specializing in the PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) standard software, supporting a major automotive client in Munich. The specialist will ensure the smooth, productive operation of PLM functions, focusing heavily on technical process optimization and code quality. Day-to-day tasks include building monitoring and operational tools, establishing performance controls, and creating technical integrations for new bills of materials (BOMs) into processes like change control and demand calculation. A key responsibility involves coordinating with external software partners, conducting thorough code quality checks, solution design reviews, and validating automated tests. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, expertise in development tools like IntelliJ IDEA and GitHub, and extensive professional experience operating applications and managing IT implementation projects, all while working within an agile (Scrum) development methodology. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for success in this highly collaborative environment.
