Job Summary

This role is critical for actively shaping the future of vehicles by defining and intelligently networking electrical and electronic components. The Electrical Design Engineer will focus on integrating innovative technologies, particularly emission-free drives, into cutting-edge vehicle concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop modern circuit diagrams, on-board electrical systems, and vehicle wiring harnesses. You will take ownership of efficient and future-proof solutions, advancing the technology of municipal vehicles and mobile working machines. Key qualifications include a degree or certified technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, coupled with professional experience in vehicle electrical conception. Essential technical skills include knowledge of high-voltage technology, CAN-Bus networks, and proficiency with the CAE tool Zuken E³ for schematic and harness design.
