Job Summary

This role involves specialized electrical design focusing on cable assemblies for the demanding aerospace sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include the design and development of complex cable assemblies, utilizing 2D-ECAD software to create detailed cable drawings and manufacturing documentation such as wiring diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and routing cards. A key component of the role is project management, including feasibility analysis for quoting, coordinating development, production, acceptance, and delivery processes, and serving as the primary technical contact for customer changes, assessing their impact on cost and schedule. Candidates must possess a degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, coupled with professional experience in system cabling design and construction. Prior knowledge of space technology standards (ESA/IPC) and space system electrical architecture is highly beneficial. The position offers responsible tasks and independent work within a permanent contract structure.
