Job Summary

This role seeks a meticulous Biology Laboratory Technician to join a pharmaceutical company in Idar-Oberstein, focusing on the production of cellular pharmaceuticals. The core responsibility involves managing production processes strictly adhering to GMP guidelines and maintaining rigorous quality assurance to ensure product safety and efficacy. Day-to-day tasks include performing necessary development work to transfer new technologies from the Research & Development (R&D) environment into the regulated GMP production process. The technician will also be heavily involved in precise documentation, including supporting the creation, revision, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing documents, alongside general laboratory duties like equipment maintenance and ordering supplies. Candidates must possess a completed relevant technical education (BTA, MTA, or equivalent) and demonstrate advanced practical skills working with primary cells or cell lines. This is a full-time position, initially contracted for 18 months with a strong option for permanent takeover.
