Job Summary

This role serves as the Data Platform Architect for the Energy Network Information Platform (iPEN), a crucial system centralizing data from regional distribution network operators to enable smart, cost-efficient energy network solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include holding architectural responsibility for the platform, continuously developing the data integration layer based on Azure Databricks, and leading the technical design, implementation, and operation of robust data pipelines. The architect must skillfully translate complex functional requirements from various stakeholders into harmonized, scalable technical solutions. A significant part of the role involves applying technical expertise to prioritize and refine the product backlog. Key qualifications include several years of experience in the Azure Databricks environment, profound development skills in Python, SQL, and Spark, and familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Terraform, and Docker. Success in this position requires a structured, analytical mindset and adherence to agile and DevOps methodologies.
