Job Summary

The Platform Engineer will be crucial in optimizing the development lifecycle at SMIGHT by introducing and managing an internal developer platform, ensuring a scalable foundation for growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and managing network infrastructure for secure and high-performance connectivity, developing and enforcing robust security policies, and overseeing the deployment and scaling of Kubernetes clusters. A core focus will be on managing Azure tenants, including identity management and cost optimization, alongside designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Helm, Terraform, and Argo. The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive experience in platform engineering, particularly with Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, and cloud environments, coupled with strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
