Job Summary

This Platform Engineer role is crucial for optimizing the development lifecycle at SMIGHT by introducing and managing an internal developer platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring secure and high-performance connectivity, and developing security policies compliant with industry standards. Key day-to-day tasks involve overseeing the deployment and management of Kubernetes clusters, administering Azure tenants (including identity management and cost optimization), and designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Helm, Terraform, and Argo. A strong background in platform engineering, expertise in Kubernetes and Azure, and proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana are essential.
