Job Summary

This Platform Engineer role is crucial for optimizing the development lifecycle and establishing a scalable foundation for SMIGHT's growth in the energy sector, leveraging their IoT solution (SMIGHT Grid). The successful candidate will be responsible for introducing and managing internal developer platforms, configuring network infrastructure for security and performance, and enforcing critical security policies. Daily activities include managing Azure tenants, overseeing Kubernetes cluster deployment and scaling, and designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Helm, Terraform, and Argo. Furthermore, the role involves implementing comprehensive monitoring and logging services using Prometheus and Grafana to ensure proactive problem resolution. Applicants must possess comprehensive experience in platform engineering, expertise in Kubernetes and Azure, and strong proficiency in agile methodologies.
