Job Summary

This R&D Hardware Developer role focuses on the design, component selection, and dimensioning of complex embedded systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating standard and EMC-compliant schematics using internal design rules, working closely with layout design, construction, quality management, and software development teams. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting and documenting commissioning, functional, integration, and EMC tests, as well as managing version-specific development documentation. The role requires applying expert knowledge in CAD software tools (like Mentor DxDesigner, Expedition) and simulation tools for circuit design, alongside extensive knowledge of EMC-compliant design in an industrial setting. You will actively participate in the product realization process (LEAN, PLM), screen new technologies, and drive technical innovations, requiring fluent proficiency in both German and English.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in hardware/electronics circuit development and PCB design
  • Experience as a project employee or sub-project manager in various development projects
  • Experience in Total Cost Projects (Design to Cost, Design to Value)
  • Experience collaborating in internationally staffed development teams
