Job Summary

This role seeks an engaged Electrical Technician to join a client in the chemical industry, focusing on critical infrastructure and production maintenance. Day-to-day responsibilities include the upkeep and repair of building systems, production equipment outside the cleanroom zone, and general electrical installations. A key function involves troubleshooting complex faults on machine controls, distribution boards, and power generation units like combined heat and power (CHP) plants. The technician will also manage external service providers and participate in a rotating on-call system to ensure continuous operational safety. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as an Electrical Technician and demonstrate profound knowledge in electrical, electronic, and electrotechnical systems. Proficiency in building installation, MSR (Measurement, Control, and Regulation) technology, and compressed air technology is required, alongside strong MS Office skills. Experience in the chemical sector is beneficial.
