Job Summary

This R&D Technician role offers a unique opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg, focusing on complex laboratory operations within chemical synthesis. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing chemical syntheses, particularly in nucleotide and nucleic acid chemistry, and executing established production processes. A core function involves the manufacturing, isolation, and purification of chemical molecules using advanced techniques like RP-HPLC and IEX. You will also be responsible for characterizing synthesis products using methods such as HPLC, LC-MS, and UV-Vis, while ensuring strict adherence to internal and external guidelines regarding occupational safety, environmental protection, and quality management. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Chemical Technician or Laboratory Assistant and brings professional experience in organic chemistry, ideally with expertise in nucleotide purification.
