Job Summary

This role is centered on the electrical and electronic systems of prototype and test vehicles within the automotive development cycle. Day-to-day tasks involve performing maintenance and complex repair work, focusing heavily on vehicle electrics. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults in electronic systems using modern testing technology, independently implementing retrofits, modifications, and adjustments to electrical components, and meticulously documenting all results. A key part of the job is actively contributing improvement suggestions back into the development process and assisting with the preparation and execution of vehicle tests. The ideal candidate must have completed vocational training as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician or Electrician and possess initial experience in vehicle diagnostics. The position offers a permanent contract, opportunities for professional growth, and requires a willingness to work within a three-shift system and demonstrate fluent German language skills (C1 minimum).

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Electrician, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Initial experience with vehicle diagnostics.
  • Initial experience working with test and inspection systems.
  • Professional experience in maintenance and repair of electrical systems in vehicles.
  • Experience working under voltage (DGUV) and further training as a Qualified Electrician (EFK) is advantageous.
