Job Summary

This role is central to managing and evolving the IT environment for a global service provider in the automotive industry. The Workplace Administrator is responsible for the comprehensive management of clients and end devices, focusing heavily on patch management, deployment, and lifecycle administration for client software, mobile apps, and various operating systems. A key aspect involves maintaining and updating critical Microsoft environments, including O365, MS Teams, Exchange, and Exchange Online (UC environment). The administrator will also support IT security teams concerning antivirus, encryption, and compliance matters. Candidates must possess a completed technical IT qualification (such as an IT Specialist) and demonstrable professional experience utilizing Mobile Device Management (MdM) and specific client management systems like MS Intune, SCCM, or SOTI MobileIron. Success in this position requires a strong analytical approach and secure professional communication in both German and English, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic, intercultural team with flat hierarchies and significant room for professional growth.

Education

Completed training as an IT Specialist, Information Technology Assistant, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in Mobile Device Management (MdM)
  • Professional experience in Client Management Systems
  • Experience utilizing MS Intune, SCCM, SOTI MobileIron, or similar systems
  • Initial experience working with MS Client Operating Systems, Android, and iOS devices (Ideally)
