Job Summary

This role is centered on the design and development of electronic components, specializing in high-performance power electronics, supporting key sectors such as the automotive, aerospace, and energy industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, including conceptual design, component selection, and supporting the creation of PCB layouts and schematics. A core part of the daily work involves executing rigorous functional tests, such as EMC testing, and performing detailed simulations (using tools like Pspice or LTspice) to ensure compliance with relevant normative regulations (e.g., IEC 61800-3). You will need a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and proven practical experience in power electronics hardware development. This position requires strong technical skills in E-CAD tools (like Altium Designer) and offers a stable, permanent contract with flexible working arrangements within an international engineering group.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware development for power electronics
  • Familiarity with standard hardware development tools (E-CAD, Altium Designer, etc.)
  • Familiarity with normative regulations for power electronics (e.g., IEC 61800-3, ISO 17025)
  • Experience with EMC-compliant design principles
