Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious CAE Design Engineer specializing in electrical construction and switchgear project planning, aiming to drive technological advancement. Day-to-day responsibilities include the detailed development of electrical designs for switch cabinet construction, creating technical drawings, comprehensive documentation, and generating accurate parts lists (BOMs). A crucial part of the job involves the design and specification of switchgear devices and performing necessary electro-technical calculations. Candidates must hold a completed degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering and possess initial professional experience in the field. Fluency in German and good English skills are mandatory, and familiarity with specialized CAE tools like Engineering Base and EPLAN P8 is highly desirable.
