Job Summary
This System Engineer role focuses on leading technical development projects for advanced heat pump systems, guiding them from initial specification through to successful prototype testing and industrialization. Day-to-day responsibilities include optimizing and qualifying heat pumps, analyzing emerging technologies, and planning and executing comprehensive laboratory tests, including detailed data evaluation. A key aspect of the role involves selecting new components and coordinating closely with external suppliers and partners. Candidates must hold a completed degree in Thermodynamics, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Success in this position requires several years of professional experience in research, development, or application engineering specifically related to heat pumps and heating systems, coupled with strong project leadership skills in interdisciplinary environments.
