This role seeks an Electrical Engineer, ideally holding a university or technical college degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology, to join a strong team in Cottbus. The primary responsibilities involve complex grid calculations and assessments crucial for modern energy infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include performing short-circuit and load flow calculations using specialized software like PowerFactory, conducting EEG connection assessments for new generation facilities, and verifying protection setting values. The engineer will also utilize GIS systems for planning, determine the economically optimal connection point for necessary grid expansion, and calculate transmission capacities within substations and the medium-voltage (MV) network.
