Job Summary

This role is for a motivated PLC Programmer specializing in the intralogistics sector, based in Langenfeld. The core responsibilities include the complete development cycle of PLC software, starting with creating programs based on functional descriptions and layouts, often with support from senior programmers. A crucial part of the job involves commissioning and testing, where you will conduct function tests of the developed software, bring the systems into operation, and provide on-site user training. Candidates must hold a university degree or a State-Certified Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering and possess professional experience in developing control concepts. Essential technical expertise includes mastery of Simatic S7 programming (TIA and Classic) using FUP, AWL, and SCL languages. This position requires significant global travel, approximately 50%, to support commissioning teams worldwide, making strong communication skills and a high degree of customer orientation essential.
