Job Summary

This role is based in Bergisch Gladbach, supporting a renowned client in the automotive sector. The Information Electronics Technician will be responsible for the operation, programming, and maintenance of various automated assembly systems, including SMD placement machines, vapor phase soldering, selective soldering, coating, and screen printing equipment. Daily tasks involve creating prototypes and samples strictly according to bills of materials and placement plans, performing manual assembly and optical inspections of THT assemblies, and executing test procedures for electronic modules. A core responsibility is the repair of electronic assemblies, requiring strong technical skills and a high degree of precision. Candidates must possess a successfully completed vocational qualification in Information Electronics or an equivalent field, coupled with good foundational knowledge of electronics. The position requires independent and conscientious work habits, a strong sense of responsibility, and willingness to participate in a 2-shift system. This is a full-time, permanent position offering above-tariff compensation and the potential for long-term assignment and client takeover.
