Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Instrumentation, Control, and Electrical Systems (I&C/EMSR) Engineer to join Akkodis' Plant Engineering Competence Center, focusing on the Chemical, Refinery, and Recycling industries. The engineer will be crucial in bringing complex industrial plants to life by ensuring systems function safely, efficiently, and intelligently. Key responsibilities include planning, projecting, and overseeing the commissioning of EMSR systems, creating precise circuit diagrams, cable lists, and technical specifications, and selecting appropriate sensor, actuator, and control components. A significant part of the mission involves conducting risk analyses and safety assessments (IEC, SIL, ATEX) and coordinating extensively with internal departments and external partners. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Technology, possesses several years of relevant professional experience, and is proficient with CAE systems like EPLAN, COMOS, or AutoCAD. This position offers the chance to apply specialized knowledge across diverse projects, from initial feasibility studies to final acceptance.
