Job Summary
This role involves taking responsibility for the development and coordination of planning for 50 Hz electrical systems, focusing specifically on service phases 3 and 5 of the HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers). Key tasks include planning power supply, distribution systems, lighting, potential equalization, and defining cable and wiring routes. The engineer will also develop solutions for track equipment at stations and on open lines, requiring close collaboration with all project stakeholders and occasional site inspections. A strong background in electrical engineering, multi-year experience in 50 Hz system planning, and expertise in relevant German railway regulations (Deutsche Bahn) and industry standards are essential for success. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Multi-year experience in planning electrical systems, specifically in the 50 Hz range
- Professional experience in a similar position (if degree is not held)
- Knowledge of German Railway (Deutsche Bahn) specific regulations and relevant norms/laws
