Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous and safe operation of the modern residual waste treatment plant (RABA) in Erfurt. The Electromechanical Technician will be responsible for the daily inspection, monitoring, and maintenance of complex electro-automatic machines and plant components. Key tasks include adjusting regulators, relays, and contactors, performing minor repairs, and efficiently resolving both electrical and mechanical malfunctions to minimize downtime. A critical component of the job is preparing equipment for major maintenance through proper electrical isolation (lockout/tagout) and overseeing the facility’s emission monitoring systems. Candidates must possess a background as an Energy Electronics Technician, Electrical Technician, or equivalent, coupled with experience in switchgear and necessary switching authorization.
