Job Summary

This role involves training and instructing up to 24 apprentices in the necessary skills and knowledge for the profession of Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems. Day-to-day activities include providing practical instruction, supervising training, creating and delivering work-related instruction and supplementary vocational school lessons, and reviewing apprentice documentation (training records and report booklets). The instructor will also develop training and practice tasks, assess performance, mentor student interns, and participate in training fairs and projects. Key requirements include a completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems or related field, proof of professional/work pedagogical aptitude (AEVO certification) or willingness to acquire it, and at least one year of professional experience in the learned occupation.
