Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Hardware Engineer to join a leading provider of data loggers and engineering services for the automotive industry. The core responsibility involves the full lifecycle development of complex electronic circuits and microelectronic systems, ranging from initial prototypes to final series products. This includes working with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and x86 processors, designing electrical circuits under challenging conditions (extended temperature/voltage ranges, EMC compliance), and conducting thorough commissioning, testing, and error analysis using specialized lab equipment. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Information Technology and demonstrate strong expertise in digital and analog circuit design, simulation, and calculation. Proficiency with EDA tools, knowledge of automotive interfaces (CAN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet), and fluency in German (C1) are mandatory for success. Required Skills

Education

Completed University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in digital and analog circuit design

  • Experience working with CAD tools, such as SolidWorks
