Job Summary

This role involves working as a Metrology Technician, specializing in 3D measurement technology, supporting production quality for innovative companies. The core responsibilities include independently executing series and special measurements using 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to determine component geometry. A crucial part of the job is the autonomous creation of measurement programs based on quality pre-planning specifications for the CMMs. Furthermore, the technician monitors quality, informs production about deviations, and assists with startup issues on the equipment. Candidates should possess a completed technical vocational training, professional experience in metrology, and proficiency with measurement software, such as Zeiss Calypso.
