Job Summary

This role is ideal for a (Junior) Laboratory Technician focused on microbiology within the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. The core responsibilities involve performing microbiological purity testing on active ingredients, raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products, as well as microbiological potency determination of antibiotics and finished pharmaceuticals. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and qualifying culture media, qualifying laboratory equipment, and assisting with the validation and transfer of microbiological methods. A critical component of the job is ensuring GMP-compliant documentation and supporting the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Candidates should possess a relevant education (e.g., Biology Laboratory Technician, BTA, MTA) and have experience in a GMP-regulated environment. Strong IT skills and proficiency in both German and English are required, alongside a high degree of responsibility and quality awareness.
