Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position as an IT Support Engineer in Dresden offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, focusing on resolving complex technical challenges. The core responsibilities involve acting as the primary contact for 2nd-Level IT Support, managing fault reports and inquiries via ticketing systems, email, and phone. You will be responsible for cross-departmental troubleshooting, identifying root causes of complex infrastructure incidents, and ensuring effective problem resolution or escalation to higher support levels. Key requirements include a technical degree or equivalent qualification, at least three years of experience in network integration, and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, and virtualization technologies. This role demands strong communication and teamwork skills, a diligent, goal-oriented work ethic, and the ability to effectively support customers in complex situations, requiring a minimum C1 level of German proficiency.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar, or comparable vocational training. IT Administrator certification/further training is advantageous.

Experience

  • At least 3 years in network integration
  • Professional experience with proficient hardware and software knowledge in backend systems
